3 Thames Road, Newham

3 Thames Road is a new residential development located on the north bank of the Thames in close proximity to the Thames Barrier in the London Borough of Newham. The site is approximately 0.4ha of former industrial use and is largely bounded on three sides by existing buildings. The development comprises 161no. apartments and duplexes in three distinct blocks of accommodation orientated on a north-south axis fronting onto Thames Road.

The blocks range in height from 8 storeys to 12 storeys and include duplex units to ground and first floor, apartments to the upper levels and rooftop amenity spaces including external play areas. The buildings are finished in high quality facing brick with feature banding and piers.

TODD were appointed by the developer, Reef Group, to develop the scheme design and subsequently novated to Henry Construction under a Design & Build agreement to deliver the design with anticipated completion in early 2024.
