Ambulance Stations, Antrim and Enniskillen

Ballymena: This project provided the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service with a new Ambulance Hub on the Ballee Road, to serve the population of Ballymena and surrounding areas. Replacing the existing ambulance station at Braid Valley Hospital, and providing increased accommodation to house 45 no. staff, 5no. ED vehicles, 4no. RRV, 3no. PCS vehicles, Divisional HQ accommodation for the Northern Area and a 25 seat conference room.

Enniskillen: The new ambulance station in Enniskillen comprising vehicle garaging, offices and crew stand-by facilities. This is the second ambulance station under our current framework agreement with Northern Ireland Ambulance Station (NIAS). The Enniskillen station is similar in design concept to the previous Ballymena station.

The station completed to BREEAM Excellent standard.
