Olympic House, Belfast
Olympic House is a 150,000sqft sqft, Grade A office development that was brought forward speculatively by developers Titanic Quarter and the Belfast Harbour Commissioners.
The building occupies a prime location in Titanic sitting between the Public Record Office for Northern Ireland and the Belfast Metropolitan College, both also designed by the practice.
The scheme, where footprint observes masterplanning guidance for the area, is composed of two cranked arms of office accommodation (six and seven storeys respectively), wrapped around a central atrium (with car parking concealed within a semi-basement).
The architecture continues the theme established by the practice for other offices in the Quarter, with carefully linked and articulated blocks, finished in white limestone, with floor to ceiling glazed screens set within bronze anodised framing.
The BREEAM ‘Excellent’ building started on site in 2020 and completed in 2022.
