Jim Nicholson is Northern Ireland’s leading independent wine retailer. His company had outgrown their existing premises in Crossgar, and acquired a new site in the locality to develop a new shop, support offices and storage warehouse.

Our scheme separated the building form into two distinct elements – a monopitch large volume warehouse space to the rear, and a simple cedar-clad box, incorporating the shop and offices, to the front. A double height tessellated glazed entrance screen, provides the clients desired visual impact on the main approach route. Internally oak flooring and bespoke designed walnut veneered joinery elements continue the timber theme.
