Kingston University, Kingston Hill campus
The practice was retained by Kingston University, to develop a masterplan for their Kingston Hill campus in Surrey.
The site, surrounded by protected woodland, falls some 15m from northern to southern boundary and contains a number of listed structures.
The masterplan developed to support an outline planning application, required primary design research and study of all built forms which will constitute the entire new campus and coordination of new infrastructure works and utilities services installations.
The practice was also retained to complete the first phase of redevelopment that included:
- – Learning Resource Centre
- – 300 seat lecture theatre
- – Six new, flexible and linked teaching blocks
- – Administration building
