The multiple unit, private rental residential market is beginning to emerge in Belfast.

This scheme, brought forward for developers MRP, sits in a great location on the edge of the city centre, directly adjacent to Cathedral Quarter, Belfast’s creative and cultural heart.

The proposal comprises some 380 apartments (sitting above shared communal facilities), organised within a series of stepped blocks, rising from twelve to seventeen storeys and arranged around a landscaped courtyard.

Differing elevational treatments and brick colours are used to identify the individual blocks and avoid the visual monotony that is common in residential schemes of this scale.

The scheme is envisaged as a catalyst for the regeneration of this neglected part of the city.
