Shard Place, London

Shard Place is a 27 storey residential tower, located alongside the Shard in London and represents the third phase of the wider Shard Quarter development.

It was designed by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop and its architecture pick up themes established in the adjoining iconic office development.

The practice was retained by fit-out contractor Mivan Marine to complete the detail design and delivery of the level 4 residents leisure facilities that includes a gym, spa, residents lounge and cinema.

BIM level 2 expertise was critical to ensuring that the bespoke detailing of the interior could be fully coordinated with the built superstructure and the complex M&E installation. This extended to completion of an Asset Information Model for the building’s facilities management company.
