Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Educational Hospital, Al-Bukayriyah, Saudi Arabia

The Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Educational Hospital is located in Al-Bukayriyah approximately 240 miles to the north west of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

The project was the first phase of a teaching hospital linked to a new university masterplan to be developed as a state of the art facility to international healthcare standards.

Appointed in partnership with a local multi-disciplinary practice our role was to develop options for a new acute hospital facility within the masterplan context as well as adjacencies, flows, departmental layouts and architectural treatment. The 60,000sq m hospital includes an emergency department, theatres, day procedures, critical care and outpatients; renal, imaging, maternity, paediatrics, pharmacy, wards and a full range of support facilities.
